I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Oxford Hotel, and I must say, its location is unbeatable, just a five-minute stroll from the city center and the main bus terminal. The friendly and dedicated staff ensured our experience was enjoyable, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. Although the exterior of the hotel could use some sprucing up, the interior has been tastefully refreshed, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Within walking distance, we discovered not only an array of shops and cafés but also the stunning Oxford University Museum of Natural History, where we marveled at its incredible collection. I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast at the Olive Branch, which is managed separately, and opting for the charming café nearby instead. If you're seeking a place that balances historic charm with modern amenities, the Royal Oxford Hotel is a fantastic choice.
